Russell  L.  Whatley,  OD

Dr. Whatley is a graduate of the University of South Alabama where he received his B.S. degree, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree. He has been in private practice in Opelika since 1990. He is licensed by the Alabama Board of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Alabama Optometric Association. He is married with 2 children and is a member of the First Baptist Church of Opelika.

Dr. Whatley enjoys outdoor sports such as golf, skiing, and tennis.

Tiffany  M.  Rhyne,  O.D.

​Dr. Rhyne graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor degree in microbiology. Dr. Rhyne obtained her doctorate from UAB School of Optometry. She went on to complete a pediatric residency at UABSO. Dr. Rhyne enjoys caring for all ages but has a special place in her heart for children. She is an honorary member of the AED Honor Society and a member of the Alabama Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and First Baptist Church of Opelika. When not at the office Dr. Rhyne enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 sons.
